parents and ministry workers: if you know a child who deserves to be "V.I.P. Kid of the Month", e-mail Rob!
Past "V.I.P. Kids of the Month"...
Collin G. (age 6)
from Houston, TX!
"V.I.P. Kid" Gets ENERGIZED Through Kids' Church Music!
Ever since Collin heard Rob's "V.I.P. to G-O-D" song at Kids' Church, he has been touched. When it's time for his parents to pick him up after the service, it's hard to get him to leave. He wants to stay and do one more song! (It sounds like the Holy Spirit is moving his heart!)
Collin's love for Christ spreads far beyond singing praise. He has NO FEAR of inviting people to church. One day he found some picture cards with Jesus' picture on them and passed them out to neighbors as an invitation to church! And when Collin gets to church, he doesn't just sit back and watch. He loves to get involved with the music, and his enthusiasm and love for Jesus Christ keep him pumped up all day long!
And remember this, our friends...Collin is SIX YEARS OLD! We can learn a lot from him. He is a "V.I.P. Kid" who knows the "joy of his salvation!"
Aren't you curious what God will do with Collin during "all of his days" on earth? Will he be a worship leader? A singing businessman? A father of four? Whatever God leads Collin to do, you can bet he will "go all out," because he knows he's representing Jesus!
"Groovy Girls of the OC"
from Southern California!
"Pop-Star Girls" Bring a Heavenly Message!
Their school was having a talent show. The girls had an idea..."why not do our hair up all cute, put on 'pop star' microphones and 'GET OUT THERE!' shirts (available for a limited time on this website in Online Store - ha ha ha), and sing Rob Biagi's song 'Before I Go, I Stop?' They even convinced Rob's wife Kathleen to come and give them some 'choreography lessons' in PERSON! WOW!
So! - they got to be in front of their friends and families, sing and dance, and even share the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Not a bad day for some good friends from Aliso Viejo, California!
Way to go, girls - for sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with song and dance, you're our "V.I.P. Kids of the Month!"
Austin L. (age 12)
from Colorado!
'V.I.P. Kid' Raises SERIOUS "Bacon" For a Good Cause!
When they found out that a friend's dad had cancer, Austin and
his sister Ashley decided to give all of the money from their "pig projects"
to help pay for that family's needs.
They wrote over 100 letters to their friends and relatives and asked them to sponsor them in their pig projects. The local newspaper published a story about their cause, and the "word got out" that they were selling their pigs to make money for their friend's dad's cancer treatment.
Most pig sales bring between $300 and $400. Together Austin and Ashley raised over $6,000 for their friend! And $6,000 was exactly what was needed to pay for that family's needs. God not only helped Austin and Ashley raise the exact amount they needed, but He also healed the man of his cancer! He is back to work and attending seminary school to become a Pastor! How cool is THAT?!?
Way to go Austin - our V.I.P. Kid of the Month! (and way to go Ashley, too!) - you guys are "representin' Jesus, and givin' all you can - oh yeah!"
Jessica H.
from Florida!
God uses a 'V.I.P. Kid' (and Rob Biagi's music) to melt a little girl's heart and draw her to Him!
Jessica's mom wrote an e-mail to Rob: "I bring home one of Jessica's friends from school two days a week. At first the girl didn't care for any other music than what she listens to at home. During our ride home, Jessica would often request that we play Rob's CD (though her friend didn't like Rob's music at first...) But Jessica was persistent in having her friend hear Rob's music and now her friend loves to listen to it, too! Jessica also really enjoys doing the motions to the songs she has learned, and is often invited to the front of our G-FORCE group (children's church) to lead singing and do the motions!"
So - sometimes it just takes a little while for people to warm up to a new kind of music, and now the word of God is going into Jessica's friend's heart and spirit, instead of just radio-pop music and non-Christian CDs!
Logan M. (age 8)
from Florida!
'V.I.P. Kid' tells a bully, "if you had Jesus in your heart, you wouldn't treat me that way..." - and the bully CHANGED!
When Logan was 5 years old, he would complain to his Mom about an older boy who would pick on him and call him names. Logan was upset, so on the way to school he and his Mom started to pray for the boy. After a few weeks, Logan reported that it just wasn't working! Then one morning they prayed that Logan would be strong and BOLD and RADICAL with God's power when the boy started acting creepy. That afternoon, Logan jumped into the car with a BIG smile on his face. His Mom asked him what happened, and he told her that after school the boy started picking on him and he asked the boy if he knew Jesus, AND THAT HE MUST NOT KNOW HIM or he wouldn't be so mean. (The bully-boy was taken aback by this comment, as you can imagine...). Logan went on to tell the boy that HE NEEDED JESUS in his heart so he could be kind. From that day forward, that boy changed his behavior, and stopped picking on Logan and all of the other kids. It was a great lesson for Logan to learn that when you stand up for Jesus, radical things happen, and He may bless you abundantly for your courage!
Logan, who is now in 3rd grade, asked his Mom if he could give his testimony about that boy in children's church. Logan knows that by sharing his story with other kids that his experience may give them the strength they need to stand up for themselves and "represent Jesus"! Praise God that He chooses to use US to share the love and LIFE-CHANGING POWER of Jesus Christ! Go Logan -
our "V.I.P. Kid of the Month"!

Kayla B.
from Arizona!
'Little Sister' Moves to the 'Front of the Class'
to Sing Rob Biagi's Songs!
Kayla and her family attended a Family Camp in Arizona in Fall 2004, where Rob and his family were singing and leading music time. Kayla had a great time learning all the songs and motions. Her Mom told us, “Kayla went to school today singing all the songs from Family Camp. Her friends in class asked her where she had been on Friday [she had missed a day of school to go to Family Camp], so she told them all about the songs that they learned. Her class cheered her on to sing one of the songs from camp. So Kayla came up, stood up in front of her class, and sang ‘Cool Guys, Groovy Girls’ to them! She told me she also taught one of her friends 'You’re a V.I.P. to G-O-D’ on the playground!”
Way to go, Kayla! We are so glad that you were brave enough to stand up in front and sing songs about God to your classmates! (As the youngest of 3 kids in her family, Kayla was especially excited to be picked as the
“V.I.P. Kid of the Month”)
Kara R.
from Chandler, AZ
"Disaster Relief From a V.I.P. Kid"
Recently Kara heard about a family displaced by Hurricane Katrina. Their infant son Kevin was sick and needed hospital care, so the family was moved to a Phoenix hospital. Kara decided to ask her parents' small group (and other church friends) to provide diapers, baby wipes, clothing, and other necessities.
Kara and her Mom & Dad delivered 600 diapers, 800 wipes, 20 outfits, a bed, a car seat, a stroller, toys, books, towels, and blankets in a pickup truck! They said, "it was a huge blessing to meet this family."Kara's parents are so proud of her tender heart, her courage to ask for help, and her desire to serve others in need. She's a V.I.P. Kid!
Lacy and Alia N. (ages 7 and 5)
from Bradenton, FL
"Let's Do a Backyard Vacation Bible School "
These sisters came up with a very cool idea for Summer 2005 - doing a
Vacation Bible School in their backyard! They made up a danceto Rob's song, "Get Out There!" and are taking the love of Jesusto their friends and neighbors. That's called EVANGELISM, boys and girls -and Jesus said we should ALL be doing that! Go Lacy and Alia! -
God's spectacular "V.I.P. Kids of the Month!"

Natalie
Christine Biagi
from Southern California
"Well...wouldn't you put your newborn baby up
on your website as the V.I.P. Kid of the Month'?"
Thanks to everyone who prayed for Natalie and Mommy (Kathleen). The labor and delivery went very well, (Kathleen did a GREAT job!), and we are all trying to adjust to life with a newborn baby. Now we have a kid in Jr. High, Elementary, and "Nat" will be with the other kids at our home church nursery soon!

Amber
M.
from Costa Mesa, CA
"God
makes wise 5-year-old, and gives her zeal,
joy,
and the gift of evangelism!!"
Amber's Mom wrote: "Amber is so bold in her faith that last year (when she was 4), she took to asking kids we didn't know at the park if they knew about God's love for them. Rather bold, but Amber is definitely one who wants to share the Good News of Jesus Christ! Amber was being tucked in one night, and told [her Mom], '...I love God so, so, so, so...much. I love Him even more than you or Daddy because He is my Father.' The wisdom of a 5-year-old!

Cody
B.
from Bradenton, FL
"V.I.P. Kid breaks and trashes all his secular rap
and rock CDs!"
Cody has had to deal with many difficult situations in his home life, and his Mom was growing more and more concerned each time Cody brought homea new secular rap or rock music CD.She wrote in an e-mail, "...when we went to Rob's concert, it was an awesome transformation in Cody. For the first time in a long time, I saw pure joy and happiness on his face, but more than anything the joy was shining in his eyes too. Being a Mom, of course I was teary eyed while listening to Rob sing and seeing the enjoyment on Cody's face. I tried not to read too much into it until we got into the car and Cody immediately asked permission to throw away ALL of his CDs. He broke every one of them in half and threw them all in the trash. We have not listened to ANY radio stations or any other music since we bought Rob's CD at the concert. Both my kids have taken the CD to their schools and all of the parents, teachers and children have fallen in love with Rob's music."

Amee
and Traci
from Barstow, CA
"Servants' Hearts and 'traffic-stopping' praise!"
Amee and Traci are in a service group called G.I.G.G.L.E.S. (Girls In God's Grace Learning Everyday Service). They were recently serving food to the homeless, and they began singing Rob's songs for fun. Their voices were so loud and joyful, that the soup kitchen owner opened the front window for people passing by to hear. In a short time, 20-30 people had gathered as the high school girls sang, and the audience applauded them after each song! People who had just been to Del Taco or the local pub were treated to rousing renditions of "V.I.P. to G-O-D", "On Your Way to Heaven", and "Carry the Light"!

Reese
W.
from Mesa, AZ.
"Kids can lead kids to Christ!"
Reese started sharing Christ with his friend Krystal after he went to camp. He started by sharing Rob's songs and website with her. She listened to the songs over and over on her computer. She then went to Vacation Bible school, and Reese led her to Christ while his parents were in the next room! (the kids are both 9) Krystal now goes to Sunday school with Reese and their church's Wednesday night program for kids!

Abby
B.
from Plainview, TX.
Here's what Abby said recently...
"Mom
- I know we're not supposed to have clubs at school, but I have this
'God Club' - we sing and teach Rob's songs to the kids that don't know
Jesus." Abby is a compassionate, caring kid with
an AMAZING heart for God.
And she was SEVEN at the time!
